Quick answer
There is no confirmed native ultrawide fix for the PC launch build. Multiple independent players report that ultrawide and 4K choices are missing, with the resolution selector stopping at or becoming locked to 1920x1080. Treat this as a reported launch-build limitation, not an officially documented specification.
The safest current option is to use a resolution the game exposes in its own menu and wait for an official update. We did not find a developer-approved configuration edit, launch argument, or third-party patch that can be recommended for review.
What is officially documented
The Steam requirements target 1080p for both minimum and recommended configurations: Low 1080p at 40 FPS for minimum hardware and Medium 1080p at 60 FPS for recommended hardware, both using an upscaler in Performance mode. The store page does not state that ultrawide resolutions are supported.
Safe checks before assuming the menu is broken
- Open the display menu and record the current resolution before changing ray tracing or the upscaler.
- Change one graphics option at a time, then recheck the resolution selector. One player reported that changing the upscaler or ray tracing also changed the selected resolution.
- If the selector becomes locked or drops to a lower resolution, restore the previous graphics setting and capture screenshots of both menus for a bug report.
- Do not download an unnamed ultrawide mod or edit configuration files without a verifiable source, version match, and rollback plan.
