Big Walk supports crossplay. Friends on the same platform service may appear automatically, while any supported-platform player can use the host's current Join Code; the first two parts of everyone's version number must match.
The host keeps the save and all group progress, and the game saves that progress automatically. To continue later, the same host must start the saved journey again.

Big Walk has no single-player mode and is built for 2 to 12 players. A solo player can start and walk around briefly but cannot get far; the host chooses a 2-player, 3-player, or 4+-player world setup for the group.
